Prosthodontics
Prosthodontics is the dental specialty pertaining to the diagnosis, treatment planning, rehabilitation, and maintenance of the oral function, comfort, appearance, and health of patients with clinical conditions associated with missing or deficient teeth and/or tissues by using biocompatible substitutes.
Prosthodontists are specialists in repairing damaged teeth using filling materials, ceramic onlays/veneers or crowns and replacing missing teeth using dentures, bridgework or dental implants.
Periodontics
Periodontics is the specialty of dentistry that studies the supporting structures of teeth, as well as diseases and conditions that affect them.
Periodontists offer a wide range of treatments, such as scaling and root redebridment (the cleaning of infected root surfaces), root surface debridement (the removal of damaged tissue), and regenerative procedures (the reversal of lost bone and tissue).
Endodontics
Endodontics is the branch of dentistry concerned with diseases and injuries of the soft tissues inside a tooth (the dental pulp).
Endodontists are highly skilled dental specialists in diagnosing and treating tooth pain and performing root canal treatment and other procedures related to the interior of the tooth.
Oral Surgery
Oral surgery is a broad term for any operation performed on your teeth, gums, jaw or surrounding oral and facial structures.
Our specialist-led oral surgery team perform simple and complex tooth extractions, including wisdom tooth extraction. They also perform soft tissue biopsies, soft tissue repair, grafting and positioning of dental implants.
Dental Implants
Dental implants are metal anchors, usually made of titanium, that are surgically placed in the jawbone to hold replacement teeth in place.
Dental implants may be used to permanently fix crowns and bridges in position or to help secure removable dentures in position.
