No! You are welcome to contact us directly and make an appointment with our hygienist.
This can vary from person to person, but we would recommend every 3-6 months.
Dentistry has developed over the years and there is really no need for you to experience pain and discomfort.
Most people do not need any means of pain relief whilst getting treatment, but some patients with very tender gums or sensitive teeth due to recession may benefit from some local anaesthetic or numbing gel.
Our hygienist will do whatever is necessary to make your appointment as pleasant and as pain free as possible.
No matter how good you are with your toothbrush, you will never clean effectively in-between your teeth, and avoiding those areas means you are
missing 60% of teeth surfaces.
Some level of interdental cleaning is essential! It doesn’t have to be floss, it could be inter-dental brushes or a water flosser.
At your hygiene appointment the hygienist will customise an oral care regime specific to your needs, manual dexterity and motivation.
